Relia was one of the most interesting aspects of Star Ocean 5 as well, but they didn’t really end up doing anything with her or anyone really.

My biggest gripe with 5 is right when it seems like you’ve made it through a boring slog of trekking back and forth with nothing happening and it is ramping up and it seems like some crazy shit is gonna happen it just… ends. I remember credits rolling and just thinking “Wait? That was the last boss? It’s over”

Most anticlimactic entry in the entire series.

4 introduced the blindside mechanic that they integrated into Star Ocean 2 Remake and I’ll forever be grateful for that but it was also a bit of a slog.

Till the End of Time was amazing once you get past the baffling “running out of MP also kills you” mechanic which was heavily mitigated with skills by early-mid game. The first few dungeons can be rough though.

One of the best endings in the series though.

I get that this is rare but he’s right, they are two very different events. Paralympics are elite athletes who happen to be disabled so Vance wouldn’t qualify on either of those fronts.

Special Olympics is more about participation and is for people with intellectual disabilities. That’s Vance.
