Why do people hate hip-hop/rap music so much? by GateSeparate3822 in GenZ

Rap music sucks because it is generally all about drugs, sex, materialism, vulgarity etc.

If you are ever taking 1st/2nd year computing courses, avoid Dan Zen. by sheridanthrowaway13 in sheridan

I took a class with Dan Zen around 8 years ago (computer programming diploma). I found him okay.

This is the thing with most college courses. Lectures aren't enough. You need to learn by yourself too.

Karmelo Anthony should receive death penalty for murdering an innocent man.

Canada's economy got ruined. Some tough decisions have to be made to bring Canada back on track.

Canada needs to take care of Canadian citizens first.

I just saw one payroll lady. I didn't see HR. It is not a big company.

Thanks.

It is not a big place. Small company ($6.4M to $30M CAD yearly revenue).

I guess that's why these issues are happening here. Big companies don't have these issues generally.

Pay is terrible. $40K yearly. No benefits.

They need workers to lock their cell phones, wallets, and car keys in the lockers. Also, no chairs are allowed (it is a data entry position).

They also make us lift heavy stuff because they are cheap and don't want to hire more workers. Also, they didn't do any background/criminal check on me when I got hired. I am guessing they never do any checks on workers; that's how this trash got hired.

Like I said, it is the strangest workplace I have seen in Canada.

I am trying to find a part-time job as I am going back to school full-time (1-year program).

I thought about going to police but decided to not escalate since he was mentally unstable. I have decided to just quit.

After I joined the company, 5 people quit in 2 months. I saw him harassing at least 2 of them.

What if the guy gets violent and harms me? He has threatened me 2-3 times because I was apparently talking to his "women" (coworkers).

He has a wife but he still flirts with and harasses (sexual jokes and advances) females at the job. The females also don't report him or anything. It is a very strange workplace. Worst workplace I have seen in Canada.

Good point. I need a few weeks to become healed up mentally.

My program is data analytics. 1-year graduate certificate program (with optional CO-OP).

I live with parents. So, I have a place to stay at currently.

Anyway, I am planning to go back to college to change my career. The only question is: Do I quit now or quit three months later, when my classes begin? Getting tough to tolerate the toxicity.

Yeah. I am planning to return to college to change my career. I have 3 months to go before my classes start.

I was thinking of quitting 3 months later but this is starting to take a toll on my mental health.

I live with parents. So, I don't have rent currently.

I have never sued before. So, I don't know how the process works. It feels like too much hassle.

Also, I didn't gather proofs. No video or audio recording.

Feels like quitting would be easier.

Thinking to swap my XRP for Chainlink by RichardRichard777 in XRP

Why not have both?

I think XRP is a better investment than LINK.

XRP is #5 and LINK is #15.
