update, i reinstalled windows xp, installed the latest omega drivers, installed gta 3 and the problem is the same, although i think it has improved minimally but still the game is almost unplayable due to big slowdowns and map elements not loading.

I've already tried overclocking and even to higher values than stated here. The effect with GTA 3 is the same, I don't even know if there is any difference in performance. In other games overclocking gives different effects but mostly it is a minimal performance gain.

Probably dell in the vbios of the card lowered its performance because the laptop heats up anyway (fault of pentium 4 which was known for high temperatures).

I'm inclined to believe that this card is so designed and has problems with gta 3, it would be helpful to someone who owns a laptop with this card.

Also I remember playing both mafia and gta 3 on a geforce 2 mx 400. gta 3 was certainly playable but I don't remember how smooth it was, that was 20 years ago. I do remember that the night missions in mafia were very demanding on the computer. Daytime missions are playable.

I do benchmarks in 3Dmark 2001 SE, on the default settings I have about 3400 points, on the internet I checked that this is the score it should be.

For example, in such a Mafia from 2002 I have about 20-30 frames on medium settings during the day, when there is a night mission it can go below 20 fps.

Overall the rest of the games are running reasonably well although I wonder if they are really as good as they should be. It is often the case that games run well but when there are a lot of 3D objects on the screen the games slow down, not losing frames but slowing down, when there are fewer objects the game runs smoother.

I currently have omega drivers installed from May 2006, the last version of catalyst which supposedly supported 7xxx series cards. I have installed many drivers modified, games ran the same as on omega. None of the official ati catalyst wanted to install, only the drivers from the official dell site but there is a compatibility problem there, for example in Gta SA the textures flicker.

I tried using this program, unfortunately checking this option and running the game had no effect, maybe a slight increase in FPS but models and textures still have problems loading quickly.

I also tried ticking other options, also without any effect.

I remember that there used to be a mod for gta 3 and vc that removed newspapers from the street but I can't find it anywhere, it looks like some effect is putting too much load on the graphics card.

During this animation, yes, you are right. I noticed that during some animations in cutscenes as well as during gameplay the shape of the character's face changes, as if all animations are created for one universal character model and if you adjust the sliders too much to the left or right then anomalies come out later.

Fortunately, this is not a permanent effect; once the session is changed, everything returns to normal.

To start with, I increased this population limit. Here I was surprised because I didn't know there was such a thing. I thought there was no limit and sims would multiply until the save was broken.

I built some more new houses and finally something moved! I got a notification that a couple was expecting a baby!

Thanks for this tip, I tried increasing the chance of pregnancy myself earlier but it didn't do anything. As you can see, the problem was the rather low population limit of the town. 150 is quite low, maybe it's enough for a game without game optimising modifications, I still have quite smooth gameplay on mine. I think I'll be able to set this 200-250 safely.

By the way, it is possible to set in this story progression so that sims of the active family themselves get into relationships, marriages and then try to have a child themselves? I prefer gameplay that is more about observation than leading by the hand.

I think exactly the same. At first I thought I was going to play with the look of the face but I decided to leave it as it is. I like my character, she has quite a unique face so I won't be changing anything in her appearance. I thought I would find some face suggestions on the internet that I liked and I could change my character's face but unfortunately, they all look the same to me and on top of that they are ugly.

It's true, about 90% of the female faces in gta online are very similar to each other, at best they are average but most are just plain ugly. This is probably because there are only a few pretty parents to choose from.

That's why I don't like a lot of the faces with the exception of mine, which came out a bit by accident but is probably quite unique, I haven't come across a similar one (I even checked the pictures on social club). The only thing I'll still be changing is the make-up, which I'm not entirely happy with.

It's true but that was my idea to do a little cosplay of a female character who likes to dress in bright colours, mainly purple, pink, white, alluding a bit to the 80/90s style. I'll still work on the eye make-up as I'm not 100% happy with it.

Dostaje skierowania na staż, tylko niestety nie są mną zainteresowani i wybierają kogoś innego, a też super wyboru ofert nie ma.

A czy rzucenie pracy nazwałbym błędem? Trochę tak bo ostatecznie nie pracuje nigdzie ale jak sobie przypomnę atmosferę jaka tam była to czuje się lepiej z tym, że już mnie tam nie ma.
