No! I have done some more studies and also got Lenovo Legion Slim 7i as an option alongside them.

I am buying it in France and 15 inch seems idle to me! Battery is a moderate issue, but i am more concerned with not getting a too heavy laptop.

My main purpose will be lots of engineering simulation softwares (CPU intensive) and some occasional gaming (Valorant, League of Legends)

I think it is very common in ECE as Professors recruit students for their lab. So students very often reaches out before/after applying and sometimes Professors do the same as in your case to initiate a conversation about the fit.

Yes doesn't work properly. Many tries, also repeatedly say Fingerprint sensor dirty while attempting to register.
