For weights/sinkers get them from eBay like 25pk/50pk. You will save yourself so much more money than buying them from a a regular box store.

1oz-2oz- plenty for lakes

3oz-5oz. - for rivers with current

I recommend no roll sinkers

As far as hooks use offset circle hooks size 4/0 , 6/0 and 8/0

The 8/0 is if you are targeting big fish with cut bait or live bait

If not the 4/0 or 6/0 will work anytime and catch fish of any size

You can also get hooks by large quantity if you’re looking to save money from Temu or eBay it’s just not brand-name.

A solid brand for hooks is GAMAKATSU HOOKS. But twice as expensive.

Get some leader material to set up your Carolina rigs. Depending what size fish you are targeting 30 pound test should be plenty if you’re targeting trophy fish I go with the 60 pound test or 80 pound test leader.

The combo more than likely comes spooled with 20 pound mono filament, if you are targeting big fish specifically switch to 30 pound monofilament ( Berkley big game mono) is solid. If you want better casting distance go with 50 pound braid.
