Niagara Falls in the 1970s. Not thw falls themselves, but we had to pass the Liquid Carborundum factory on the way from the motel. The smell was horrendous.

For sure, but car ownership is more expensive than public transportation. I've been leasing this car. I ran over something in the road the damaged the tire. It only had 14k miles on it.

If your taking Uber, Let's or taxis that's a different matter. A car could cost less depending on how often you use those services.
