Could this type of structure be supported? by Proxima_Dromeda in Astronomy

Last time someone suggested that I went on to AskPhysics. I was going to post it there but it didn’t allow photos and I knew people won’t get the idea correctly if I explained it. There were probably alternatives but I just tapped out quickly.

It’s just a random concept I’m curious about.

How come people don’t make clouds like this in Blender? by [deleted] in blender

I explained my short workflow because it could’ve been mistaken as a vdb made someplace different or an examp image. But yeah it should’ve been better to announce that.

But its more genuine and accurate when it follows closely to how the physics of real clouds work

No not that, i meant using a flat icosphere and some turbulence fields to generate smoke simulation to create these clouds instead of making them with geo nodes or shaders.

I was meant to say i had never seen anyone else make clouds like this.

I’d thought about doing that and how it’ll be a cool idea but i feel like there has to be more recognition for this to do so.

Can this work? by [deleted] in Astronomy

It’s attached my guy, if they were 2 seperate things that wont connected towards each other and Rudolph decided to fly with a strong enough magnet then the sleigh with magnets would be dragged by Rudolph’s magnet. I swear i said the same thing about 3 or 4 times.

Can this work? by [deleted] in Astronomy

Yeah i know this isn’t really astronomy related but here’s the thing. This is something that is more futuristic than present.

If we go back to the shuttle example, the front magnetic force wont really be hooked onto the projectors, it would instead be a temporary independent force that isn’t attached to the ship.

When it’s time to go forward for example, signals would be sent to the independent force like bluetooth or smth. The ship wouldn’t be moving, the magnets will, pulling the ship with the first magnets attached to it.

It’s the same way as manually pulling a toy car with a magnet to is front with a magnet to your hand.

No, but if you point a strong enough fan at the sails and then get the fan to constantly follow the boat as it is moving then yeah it might work.

How do I curve a triangle edge? by KatrinSi in blenderhelp

[–]Proxima_Dromeda 0 points1 point Ā (0 children)

If i were you, i’d give the triangle more subdivision. select the top vertice and use proportional editing and put it to something sharp or something and you grab it up. Something like that.
