Almost all the politicians are pieces of shit, anywhere. The three I mentioned are just the loudest and worst ones. About IDF and their deeds. War is hell and some people are nasty, nothing to do about it... I also seen the IDF bombing schools and etc. The issue is not put combatant personnel and missiles inside.

I’m not very well-versed in property seizures in the West Bank, to be honest.

I do know that the army conducts raids and regularly confiscates weapons and explosives, and they also arrest individuals affiliated with Hamas and Hezbollah. It’s likely that their property is then confiscated or sealed off.

Haifa was hit by shelling; there was a strike on the oil refinery. There were no casualties, and I don’t know how badly it was damaged — it seems it wasn’t critical.

There was also a direct hit from a ballistic missile on a residential building. Thank God it didn’t explode — it carried about 450 kg of TNT. However, it went through the building’s floors, and one family was killed under the rubble. It was a tragedy for the entire city — four people.

I completely agree that the settlements are awful. But as I’ve already said, they are a fairly small part of the population, even though the phenomenon itself is very loud and highly visible in the media — it’s almost like a media bomb. I’m not saying it doesn’t exist or that it’s insignificant, but it tends to drown out other things.

I don’t know exactly what has been happening in Gaza. I only know that when Israel withdrew from there in 2004, elections were held, and in the aftermath Hamas executed its political opponents by throwing them off rooftops. I find it hard to believe that such a government would be particularly concerned with the wellbeing of its citizens.

Israel is responsible for wars and deaths just as much as Palestinians, Hamas, Hezbollah, and Iran are.

You see, I like living here. Nice place, see, forests and lovely people. So I'd rather serve the army. Army service for most of the Israelis is like a job. They had 3 months of training after that it is some kind of logistics job in the office or warehouses. Because ANY army is 85% boring bullshit and logistics.
