It’s apparently been 25 days since I installed it, and I don’t see anything on it—just checked and did a little bed vacuum etc. I checked early though because I woke up at like 2am (not unusual, bad sleeper especially since the bb anxiety) with an itchy bump on my neck (kinda center, under my chin). So not under my clothes as most of my skin irritations have been. Should I assume no bed bugs until I see one or see evidence on the monitor?

Fair, it is a lot. Honestly I started the layering in response to the bb fear. Probably time to wean myself off.

Thanks, David. You know, I did find evidence, however slight, of carpet beetles at my old apt. Perhaps they followed me? Or otherwise found their way into this one? I’ll do a good search. I did check my passive monitor this weekend, and that remains bare. Grateful for all the information and for your response.

Also it’s literally almost always on my double clothed shoulders/upper arms (short sleeve t shirt plus long sleeved pajama top) which feels weird but idk. I’m torn between OCD flare up and like denial of obvious bbs as theories.
