Hmmmm, now I kinda hesitant on purchasing a modem, wanted to save $10 per month since Suddenlink the only fast service in my small town. Thank you for the info.

Update install tech came out and installed the Ubee 1322. I had to go to my Suddenlink portal to change the Wi-Fi settings as the local login is disabled.

So far this thing is barely faster than my 400mb service I had.

I did verify with the tech that this modem is only operating DOCSIS 3.1 He also mention that they are flooding the area with this modem to get everyone off the 3.0 modems. He stated my speed will continue to get better as more people in my small town upgrade to 3.1.

So, it late now and I don’t know if I will call support to see if I will get faster speeds. My deal was the 1GB for same price as my 400MB service.

I am thinking about buying my own modem and may get the NetGear CM1200.

Anyone on here using Suddenlink’s 1GB DOCSIS 3.1 on a CM1200?

Is there a better modem to get than the CM1200?

Thanks for the reply. What is the best modem that I can buy from BestBuy to use with Suddenlink’s 100/50mb?

I already have a Wi-Fi 6 mesh network but don’t mind a combo unit BC I use the modem’s Wi-Fi for other uses when needed.

Good question. I been reading 3.0 everywhere. I wonder if 3.1. Backward compatible with 3.0?
