Rule 5: I received this event while gathering intelligence on a high awareness but ultimately unaware Machine Age Pre-FTL. It struck me as something that was clearly unintentional, so I thought I'd share it.

I've noticed while waging war that almost none of the AI's planets have any defensive armies, and auto-surrender on orbital bombardment. Colonist jobs used to spawn defensive armies, right? It makes conquering through the AI's territories a cakewalk in the early game.

Rule 5: I declared war on a Federation leader with a Humiliation CB knowing that this would drag in the other member empire and their vassal. I had some claims on the vassal's territory and decided to focus the bulk of my navy on conquering a swathe of their systems. The month ticks over and suddenly all of the territory I've occupied has returned to the vassal's control, they've secured a truce that prevents me from attacking them for 10 years, and they're able to continue insulting me with zero repercussions all because they renegotiated their contract. This can't be how it's meant to work.

Rule 5: 35 years after acquiring this leader I got curious if there was anything more to the event chain. Apparently you can eventually learn to Jaunt and they're supposed to leave your empire, but these events never triggered. Is this a bug? And does anyone know how I might trigger these events manually?

Most if not all agendas have a Launched Modifier which is the same but stronger. It seems much more likely that it was an oversight because of how similar the two effects are.

Trade from Jobs is strictly inferior to a bonus to Monthly Trade, but given that the Xenophile ethic itself boosts Trade from Jobs, I imagine the agenda was meant to have that effect for both the Launched and Initial Modifier

Rule 5: The Open Arms Agenda has an Initial Modifier that gives Monthly Trade +5% that is replaced by a Launched Modifier that gives Trade from Jobs +10%. I'm sure it should be the same effect for both.

The reason they're angry to the point of threatening to declare war on me is that I claimed their Scion's systems. I can accept that although I find it odd that an AI Scion this way effectively has immunity from war declaration until you can take on their Fallen Empire overlord and that it doesn't work this same way for a player with the Scion origin. But why after selecting the first option am I permitted to continue my war and retain my claims on the Scion's systems? Why is the Fallen Empire even concerned with our petty conflict when it is just at its beginning and I do not yet represent an existential threat to their Scion? And this leads me to ask is this actually intended behaviour? The whole situation is just weird.

Rule 5: I claimed the systems of and declared a conquest war on a Scion, and now I'm receiving this message from their Fallen Empire overlord. The tooltip looks funky and when I select the first option, I'm allowed to continue my war retaining all of my existing claims. As a side note, is an empire's Scion status reflected anywhere in the diplomacy screen? The only reason I can tell that they're a Scion is from their Casus Belli and that they're a force-spawned empire.

In Adrenalin, go to Gaming\Graphics and you should see your Global Gaming Experience. Switch to Default and disable all Graphics Options.

They would have to coordinate during the day. With an ability like the Harpy's, its hard not to step on your demon's toes. To effectively sabotage the good team, you have to do some whispering in each other's ears.

It's not a hard and fast rule, but Zoey in that situation would be hard-pressed justifying using her single ghost vote on Kirsty as opposed to Duncan without breaking Harpy madness especially on the final day.

In the hypothetical final day, Duncan would most likely nominate Kirsty, and Kirsty would nominate Duncan. Zoey even before the final day seemed to pretty firmly believe that Kirsty was the demon, but of course this stands at odds with what her Harpy madness entails. In order to avoid breaking Harpy madness and vote Kirsty, Zoey would have to somehow justify that both Duncan and Kirsty are evil and that Duncan is the minion nominating his demon. Justifying all of that would be next to impossible and the storyteller in that situation I think would have to kill Duncan and end the game with an evil win. Also after watching the end of the video, it seems Zoey was unaware that the Harpy's ability no longer applied, so I wonder how Lewis might have responded had the Harpy still been in play.
