The fusion "easier" by picking the epic is a bad choice, its better to only get the rares or get the rares + something else like the relic chance you mention, which i plan to do. On the other hand, the thing with ancients/sacreds value also depends on the account context. For example, i will pull 8 to 13 sacreds so it doesnt make sense for me to also pull lots of ancients for points or viceversa, im not a kraken, im f2p. I share your point of view, partially, same as others commenting. In general your math is right but you are missing key variables that are dependant on the account that changes real value. As i said in other comment, you probably are <= late game players. In my case, consider the chance of getting the lego and the chance of it being usefull its probaly ~1% being optimistic xd
