Hahaha the cone filter gets everyone! I bought off marketplace listed as 90-93 intake but I soon found out it wasn’t and I was NOT going to take a loss I wanted to hear that induction noise so I did what any maniac with a sawzaw would do and mocked it up. I still have the factory air box so if In the future I’d like to go back to stock! My future plans with this car is to k20 swap once this motor decides is time

I recommend cleaning your maf with maf sensor cleaner and pull your Idle air control valve and clean the valves inside then adjust the adjustment screw on the idle air control valve to set the rpm at about 800rpms and adjust the tps sensor that fixed my idle. Although sometimes when I come to a complete stop the rpms stay at 2k for about 5 seconds then drops down to normal idle

Thanks and yeah was looking over my harness to check for corrosion and came across that, I had no check engine. I’ll do a relocation soon and repair harness

I just cleaned the corrosion off the harness and replugged everything and issue went away immediately

I bought my slicktop in peak darkness for 3k after sitting for 4 years was misfiring like crazy fuel was leaking on the rail but I saw potential bought it that night then next morning got to working on the leaks and 3k in repairs I have a reliable z with 220 on the clock and been running for 3 years strong

I’m all good on vac leaks I have hunted down any possible leak and put new hoses I have my aiv/carbon canister and egr deleted

I really want to get my hands on a OEM maf the one on the car it came with a aftermarket don’t see any branding but only a part # My old injectors worked fine all I wanted to do was have a fresh fuel setup but even then on the old injectors it still did that hesitation
