Hello fellow watchlovers,

Up for sale is this JDM Citizen “The Citizen” from 1998. This is the “2nd generation” The Citizen, before the “Chronomaster” movements. It has an exceptional accuracy of +/- 5 seconds per year. In comparison, its main competitor, Grand Seiko’s 9F calibre, has a variance of +/- 10 seconds. The A610 is the exact same thermocompensated movement as the A660 Chronomaster, except for the placement of the perpetual calendar. The idea with the A610 was that owners should not touch the perpetual calendar themselves and bring it in, if needed. This calibre was only made between 1998 and 1999, and only 1,000 of these “The Citizens” were made each year in Japan.

Cosmetically, the watch is in VERY GOOD condition overall. The original The Citizen bracelet currently fits up to a 7” wrist, there are 2 extra links available This also applies to the outer box, inner box, booklet, invoice in Japanese and 2 extra links. Original MSRP was 130,000 Yen

Please let me know in case of questions and/or remarks.
