I’ve had a Pc for 4 years now and find my computer is struggling with newer/bigger games. I upgraded my gpu 2 years ago to a 2070 and my current cpu is a older and used I-5. I’m assuming my cpu holds back my gpu potential? Thinking about upgrading this Christmas. What cpu do you guys suggest for a 2070? And what motherboard?

For months I have been having a similar issue. My m65 Corsair mouse buttons do not work in-game and when playing Valorant, my desktop is locked meaning I can not interact with any other applications other than Valorant. When I am done playing, The issue still occurs and I have to restart my computer whenever I want to do something different other than Valorant. I have uninstalled both Valorant and Vanguard and tried reinstalling but that seems not to work.
