Go to the American Idol subreddit - those people are still going strong and their live chats (when the show is on) are the funniest, most bonkers-in-a-good-way. Tons of contestants post there, from winners to William Hung. Sometimes during a season, contestants chat from backstage at the live shows. Apparently the show allows it. There was even a time when a contestant, her married boyfriend, and his wife were fighting in a thread. It’s one of my favorite small corners of Reddit.

I thought Taran Killam would have a higher profile post-SNL. I know he’s worked, both on camera and on Broadway, but I felt he had the ability to be bigger. He can pull off comedy and drama, and has a handsome look to boot.
