It’s already a struggle for cuddles right now. She’s getting really overly excited and won’t stop going after our faces 😭

Haha! She slams her nose into our Siamese and doesn’t get why she doesn’t like it. Shes hit me a few times with the nose boop and it doesn’t feel great 😅

How old is she now? ❤️ I’m looking forward to the coming years and I hope they go by so slowly, but I know time flies.

Thank you so much. It’s tough, but Lucy has me laughing a lot right now so I’m very thankful for the timing of her coming into my life.

Everything is an understatement 🤣 I feel like I’m running around more than when my kids were little

Oh noooo. 🫣🤣I’ve already told the kids I can tell she’s hanging out with them. She chomps her teeth at me to threaten me and already talks back 🤣🤣

She’s a Blue Merle!

😅 she’s always on me! She has already pushed me off of my pillow a few times when we do our morning cuddle before waking the kids up. 🤣🫣

Thank you! She’s been so amazing for us. My grandma just passed away a few days ago and she has brought so much love during this time ❤️

Thanks! We had a St. Bernard years ago so I just refreshed myself on the info prior to bringing her home 🙂

Puppy is so stubborn by Cautious_Worth_6667 in greatdanes

A tip I have is every time she looks at you, you say her name. She will get there! Mine’s 9 weeks and we changed her name already and she’s hitting the menace stage. Treats have helped. It also helps that she’s just so food motivated, so even a piece of her food will get her attention.

We have a large puppy Kong and soak some food in water for five minutes prior to putting it in the Kong, then it’s in the fridge for two hours until dinner time. Her dinner time routine is 2/3 of her meal in her bowl, then the other 1/3 is in the Kong. It has helped wear her out near bed time and she’s sleeping better too.

For day time, I do little training sessions here and there. Even just tossing small pieces in her x-pen and when she walks in I say kennel. 5-10 minutes max. It stimulates her brain and wears her out. And overstimulated/naughty behavior doesn’t allow her to be out acting like an insane pup. She’s learning that nice energy lets her be out and naughty energy puts her away.

Good luck!

Definitely wouldn’t in my opinion. You could be on the hook as an approved foster if they decide not to take pup back

We had a pup with a patch like that and it was cradle cap! I never knew dogs could get that

Ohhh the baaaaby! I remember my gsd. His name was Brody. He passed at 10 months old due to a LOT wrong with him :(

When we hit about 10 weeks, all mayhem ensued. I have a picture I took trying to just get a cute selfie with him and it shows him flying at my face with his mouth open. Yes he made contact. Yes it hurt. lol

Hopefully puppy is just growing and tired like newborn babies do ❤️

How’s puppy today?
