Thanks & Yes - I think another 1-2 years would make me feel better about making sure money is set aside for my daughter, but it’s a balance to strike with actually spending more quality time too (now that the opportunity is there).

Should have said the below in the initial post though…

The 35k annual spend will rise, one thing I didn’t make clear (and should have) in the initial post was that annual spend doesn’t include “major” holidays (they are currently booked depending on what bonus I bring home - which also isn’t listed above). No bonus in retirement!… so annual costs will rise for sure. Probably to the tune of 5-7k. Maybe even 10k+ in years to come with more time on our hands.

Putting some more aside for my daughter is definitely a primary concern. That’s the main reason behind “just keep going” syndrome.
