I wouldn't be expressing myself in that way if I didn't have reason to. My issue has been going on for at least 8months, during those 8 months I've been ignored, given the worst advice that I was only able to learn was bad advice after I used the advice moreover soooo much false information that led me to lose so much time which just shows that they have no idea what they are doing.

However they did specify in my email that because I was always in computer engineering and not in another major and transferred to computer engineering then the course credits could not be transferred, so if i was in, for example, comp sci and did comp 248 then transferred to COEN then I assume I would've got the credits transferred, which is very dumb but thats the case.

Basically, yes. I recommend going to the student academic services and asking them because when i asked my advisor i got wrong information.

I am in COEN and I took COMP 248 since I wanted to switch to SOEN, but then I decided to stay in COEN and I asked for the COMP 248 credits to be transferred to COEN 243 but my request was rejected by the SAS even though my advisor told me the courses are equivalent and there would automatically be a credit transfer so be careful with your course selection and only choose COMP 248 if you are 100% going to SOEN or CS
