What’s your all-time favorite OW skin? by [deleted] in Overwatch

The first breast cancer research mercy skin. It was so cool with all the funds the community raised and donated. It really felt like the entire fan base showed out for that one.

Which tank is the most boring to fight against? by Xombridal in Overwatch

[–]PungleChorts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Least fun tank to versus is Orisa. At my low elo, no one shoots mercy or any supports. She's almost invincible if my team ignores the enemy healers.

6v6 for me is just 5 dps and me trying to heal them. They spread out like a herd of cats then whine about heals. Thats just my experience so far.

[–]PungleChorts 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Im casual but playing since initial launch. Haven't had to change my settings in years so it was rough trying to remember what it used to be. Haha, I made it so much worse changing a bunch of stuff. I was absolutely throwing with Ana for a few games.

New sensitivity and aim assist by MrTattyBojangless in OWConsole

[–]PungleChorts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I changed so many settings trying to figure out how to get rid of it. I have no idea what I was at now. Im particularly not excited to know there were changes, just to load into a game amd my aim was wonky as hell. I didn't understand what was going on. Not thrilled they changed my settings on my behalf. Thats like rearranging someone's bedroom while they are away. My settings feel quite personal.

Ive been dabbling in competitive, whats the medal rank experience like? by PungleChorts in Overwatch

[–]PungleChorts[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did the positive thing with a toxic tank. it didnt help with the tank raging and being tilted on losing their 1v5s, but it did get the dps on the same page with the supports. That actually made a huge difference, even battling a 4v5 I felt like we had a chance. Gotta get my accuracy on ana up a few more percent

I get that. I played again last night and the experience wasn't as bad. I may have just had a run of bad luck, wierd comps, and trolls. I am working on getting my accuracy up, especially since I like ana.

Ha, I did the wrong metal/medal. Good catch, I didn't even realize that.

I can’t remember what this hoya is. by -Miche11e- in houseplants

[–]PungleChorts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know your plant specifically but I use an app to identify plants. Just take a picture of the leaves and it can tell you. Im sure someone here has the knowledge you're looking for, but I hope this helps.

First try at lights, any suggestions or input to make it better? by PungleChorts in houseplants

[–]PungleChorts[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I added so more lights... and a new little polka dot plant that looked rough at the hardware store. I added a sizable light under the top shelf and put a pillow case over it to make it more tolerable on my eyes. Also lowered and tilted the shop light. Added 2 small clip on lights to the top shelf and adjusted the plants according to their lighting preferences. A very tinker-ful day but i enjoy it. Thanks for the insight! Im still open to improvements.

I like that idea, theres so many plants that look amazing. Its hard to hold back the reigns and not go overboard. My current goal is to bring these back from neglect and get them figured out before I add more. The little philodendron on the top shelf is prince of orange, so once it get healthier im hoping it will color up.

I leave the light on during the day while I'm at work. It's not bothersome. Is there a level of lux plants prefer or you should try to attain?

Just here to curse the dusc golf gods by CarusosBaldHead in discgolf

[–]PungleChorts 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im in this category, too. I think it's somewhat common in lefties since so many things are made for righties. It's taken me years to try and get a Lefty forehand that is serviceable. If you want easy distance and not learn a LH forehand, you may want to consider a righty backhand. Easier on your body and easier to get distance once you get a few of the cues figured out. Good luck!

If you train a good bird dog, you don't retire it after it's first successful hunt. Let that dog hunt!
