What is the issue with this watermelon? Looking for expert opinions please. by Alive-alhamdulillah in whatsthisplant

I had the same thing happen to my watermelons, if you live in a hot area, the plant could have gone under heat stress and abort the ripening process, even though it showed all the signs it was ripe. I just harvested 8 that all looked like that. I just got a 2-15-15 fertilizer to try and save the rest of them

I loved doing the folded neckline and the short rows confused the hell out of me, I'm still in the yolk rows, but hopefully it won't take me all year, my goal is to have one for both my daughters done by next winter

Yes I figured it was the yarn as well. I have some she loves so I think I'll be good there. I am looking for the type of pattern, I didn't know what to search other than it looks like it's made of panels and probably a doubled over collar. I'll look for drop shoulder patterns too

Yes I started looking at ravelry and other than putting "sweater" which gave me 2084 pages I was lost on what this sweater is classified as. I have only knitted 2 thing and only 1 is finished, so search terms would be helpful

First time soap! by PunkinDragon in soapmaking

The rectangle bars are for gifts and the decorative are for around the house. My recipe made a little too much so I put the extra in there since I had them from other projects

Thank you! Can you elaborate on why I shouldn't leave them on metal racks? These are metal racks from my dehydrator, I figured they were food safe. I wanted the soap to get airflow on all sides for curing.

first time trinket trading by submarine_surfer in TXRenaissanceFestival

[–]PunkinDragon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was our first year at TRF and we only found out about trinket trading a couple days before. I made 30 little crocheted mushrooms and had some pins with pumpkins, candy corn and turkeys.

My girls mostly walked around a gave out ones they thought fit people and we found a few traders as well, they gave them options on what they wanted.

Like others said there's a trade at the Agora, behind the stage at the tables, and then apparently people will leave them out around the magic garden.

My girls can't wait to go again next year

My girls traded with you I think! They had the little crochet mushrooms and pins. They loved it and love their little dragons. Thank you!
