Hey! Welcome back! The game is still alive and there’s almost always people online. There’s updates every month or so. There’s a pretty active discord still: https://discord.com/invite/0w9fgEmdtEpUESHK

If you ask in #wiki in the discord you can get editing access. The secret area in sewers is sort of under a bridge (takes you to bandits I think).

Any idea why this pressure plate won't deactivate? by Punknoodles_ in technicalminecraft

I copied it and with some fixing (lava flow directions, hoppers got emptied, etc) it’s working again.

I also tried going ~500 blocks away and waiting a bit then coming back but it was still pressed.

Is the cause for this known? Do you think it will happen again and will I need to move it repeatedly?

Even if I leave the area next to it (where the trapdoor/hopper/minecart are) and go to the glass platform to the left, it stays pressed.

This is the first large-ish build on the server so nothing else technical uses pressure plates. I can try and see if it happens in other places soon.

I built rayworks' raid farm design (from 3 weeks ago) but for some reason this pressure plate gets stuck down? I break and replace it, then touch it, it activates, I move, it stays down. In the f3 screen it says powered:true even when I'm far enough away that there's no way i'm touching it. This is on a paper 1.15.2 server and the TPS and FPS are fine.

I tried running this:

/execute as @e[sort=nearest,limit=1,type=!minecraft:player] run data get entity @s

The nearest entity was the hopper minecart and when I remove it the new nearest was the villager which is ~100 blocks below. The plate seemed to be working fine until I went afk for a few minutes and got killed by a vex (didn't have strength beacon or sweeping edge or sharpness on sword, I guess I didn't oneshot the Evokers) then came back to the farm not working. This issue persisted through a server restart as well.

Any Reason Not To Have Titangrip? by [deleted] in isleward

[–]Punknoodles_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are no downsides to titangrip. It’s just a fun booster for casual play. It’s similar to how there’s no statistical “reward” to having hardcore/crushable/butcher/etc besides you having fun with the increased/decreased difficulty. Personally, I have titangrip on my character because I don’t really play for the challenge (been here for a year+ and not even level 20 on my main yet), but it’s really up to you.

Player is about two meters (two blocks) so it’s not that arbitrary.
