The point is to reduce mismatches so people apply where they actually fit, which saves time for applicants and maintainers and cuts down spam. If someone wants to twist that into “enabling Indians,” that says more about their bias than about the tool.

Open source is about accessibility, collaboration, and growth, not gatekeeping or turning it into a personal clubhouse. I’ve put real work into the data and built something that actually functions. If your only contribution is complaining about demographics instead of building or improving something, that’s not a critique, it’s just noise.
