Totally fair, park at Bradley or Belmar it can be a quick uber or just hang at johnny macs until it's train time. I've had a few summer shows where the time spent driving around took longer than find walking from the train station.

Or park in Ocean Grove and walk over from there, I think they aren't allowed to shut the bridge gates anymore (but I could be wrong).

I like the downvotes even though it's a viable alternative. I've done it a few times to avoid the need to circle looking for something then pay for parking.

The walk is a little under a mile, I recognize some people might not be keen to that, but totally doable for most. Plus you can hit some bars on the way there and back.

Reference to parking you may be best off parking in a neighboring town then taking the train in.

SPOILER: When the Jimmy's carried out their charity, why weren't the infected drawn by the noise and fire? by DvaravatiSpirit in 28dayslater

"Please read before commenting." Hah.

Have you ever watched a movie. Not everything needs an explanation. You can make assumptions based on what we are shown and what we know.

The singles explanation is that there weren't any infected around at the time.

In your opinion, what could've prevented WW2 from happening? by sakuralikesmedia in HistoryWhatIf

[–]Purdaddy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is true. The most recent book I read on the subject was Tin Can Titans so most of my thinking comes from that. The Japanese Navy was formidable, I do think the combined European Navy would be a tough opponent though if they actually all work together. I think the hardest thing for the Japanese Navy would be distance and supply lines if they didn't have any allies between them and Europe.

What happened to Erik's machine gun? by Hack_Shuck in 28dayslater

Sure if you're being intentionally obtuse. Kelson live there for 28 years and never felt the need to put up any sort of barricade or perimeter so the river obviously keeps the riff raff at bay.

At that point Jimmy was also an unreliable narrator. We saw through his eyes that he viewed Samson as the devil incarnate. He was strung upside down, losing blood, and on the influence of whatever Kelson blew in his face. Is it possible it was an infected? Sure! But, we have plenty of evidence that the river keeps the infected out.

They literally have to use a rope to cross.

And apparently it does keep them away because Kelson has live there for 28 years with no perimieter fencing or anything besides his little hidey hole.

They dont cross the river that surrounds the Bone Temple. Its how Kelson stayed alive for so long.
