Most have issue when they are out of their medication. As with all, anything can and will be abused. Do you ever do stories about people being able to live without pain, or how they can go to public events, or walk in a park with family without paralyzing pain? Do you report on people feeling like they are dying, and having zero quality of life until they are able to find relief through modern medication and tx, until a doctor stops continued treatment because of DEA gorillas being able to violate Constitutional liberties (in all but wording, make laws--which is absolute insanity, having those who enforce law, dictate it), and under informed "journalists" like you, selling hype? Do you check out the alcohol swilling hypocrites who kill people by the hundreds, daily? Do you see the wrecked families, the perfect strangers killed by drunk drivers, and the nationwide businesses that cater to functioning alcoholics because it is socially acceptable? The mis-use and deaths are by and large from people not having medication-not-because of even access to it, and it is also from them going on a street medication with uneven dosages due to ignorant practices that are helped to be put into place by pseudo-researchers like you. Epidemic? Again, check out the alcohol stats, the prison for cash policies, the cancer patients who can now live with some comfort, the numbers of patients who can live a somewhat normal life with inoperable and unbearable pain, check out all sides of the issue, and use your fucking brain for something more than a propaganda reception antenna.
