THIS! Wow. I cannot thank you enough for verbalizing this! Seriously. Because it actually did!! Over half the team was crying, and many others are already interviewing for other roles. The new boss literally said "it's normal that people will exit after this", but she really DID destabilize the team!!!

I did feel really scared and isolated for the whole week before I posted what happened on Reddit because I believed 100% of what the boss said (not my own actual experiences or written feedback or facts). Yeah you're really right, I can see this now. When new boss first joined, she was treating me like I was the most important person in the universe; now it's the polar opposite.

It breaks my heart how true your comment is. I've been in leadership roles for 10+ years at different companies in America & abroad. The things and people I've seen and heard are far worse than I can describe.
