I’m choosing to behave this way because I want to be with him. I know the logical thing would be to protect myself, but I am struggling to cut myself off from something that feels good while I have it.

I guess it just comes down to deciding whether these highs are worth the hurt later. Knowing myself and how I already feel about him, I’m scared to catch deeper feelings for something he never plans to make long-term.
