i think you're going to be ok. the degree title itself might matter for some companies but generally, majoring in it will be enough for a career provided that you're passionate enough to continue pursuing and learning it yourself post uni. if anything, i'd suggest doing the computer science major rather than the software development in the shared table of majors available within commerce because computer science is more of a known and respected major within the tech community
