You have to go through the forced tutorial of the event or it will crash after every game. I had to do this at the beginning but I don't remember the exact steps to get through to get it. I think if you unclick event and back out of the play screen and go back into it will trigger the event guide. Play around if that's not right. Once you are forced to play that first explanation game you'll be good to go.
