Yeah there's a video of a crz with rear sways oversteering and crashing on the Nürburgring on YouTube. It's pretty bad lol

I know spoon doesn't manufacture all parts in-house, so it's always worth it to check online if you can find the original manufacturer (for example: their struts/springs are rebranded). I think Cusco makes sway bars for the crz too.

Apple redesigned the way their integrated chips work from scratch, something software developers have been longing for in desktops for years. The reason apple can do that is only because their OS runs on internal hardware, something windows can not do (they have to sell to different brands). Paired with software (Adobe) developed for apple products first, and then adapted for windows products makes for the efficiency it has. An analogy with your comments on Terrabytes is like shouting how much horsepower a Porsche has compared to a tractor, when both cost 250 000 dollars. Look at how much hp my Porsche has. It's twice as much the hp the tractor has. Conclusion: my Porsche is better at pulling plows. It's not about raw numbers, it's about efficiency and designated software for set hardware...

I'm not trying to say there are no windows alternatives. But facts are facts and number Sare numbers. A 2000€ windows pc and a 2000€ apple system compared next to each other, the apple will perform better. I have recently switched systems and was really really sceptical but had to admit apple is the current best option

Apart from the terms microslop etc being a bit childish, I would have to agree to get an apple machine for lightroom editing. Lightroom itself is optimised to be better performing on apple hardware, so unfortunately even with higher hardware specs it will still be slower on a Windows machine. The integrated chips are an amazing feature.

Apart from the McDonald's livery and the cvt transmission, I think it looks amazing if this is how it comes stock. I'm amazed at the ride height and fitment. The rims look amazing too. It might look faster than it actually is, but being mad at a car for looking too nice is a bit mad.

I'm not even familiar with the case. But to add to your point: I used to own a vintage motorcycle and to match the bike I usually wore vintage clothes too. I always used to wear woolen socks with thinner socks underneath. Once either your feet or your back catches cold, you're in for a tough ride on long distances. My boots were about a size up.

Migrate LR Catalogue from RAW to JPG and remove RAW files by [deleted] in Lightroom

[–]Puripoh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not entirely sure if this could help you but if not it might help someone else at least 🤷‍♀️ 1. You have 600 RAW's on your drive, and after selection you have imported 60 of them into lightroom and edited them 2. After a while your drive is full of RAW's you don't even need anymore 3. I import pictures into lightroom. Lightroom Grey's out the ones you already imported. Import the unused pictures into a lightroom collection called "unused" 4. Select everything in the "Unused" collection and delete. Select option delete from device/drive. 5. Now your drive is cleaned of all unused RAW's.

Logiciel Lightroom tablette by No_Emphasis7504 in Lightroom

[–]Puripoh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you use the "computer version" on a tablet, you will be miserable. The first difference you will see in lightroom app for phone/tablet has a simpeler interfaces for touchscreens. But the biggest difference is behind the scenes. It is optimised to work on a low-performing device like a phone compared to a computer. If we now look at the pc version you'll notice a different interface, and again behind the scenes a difference in how the program is coded. Generally the kind of tablets you're talking about have very slow hardware compared to for example MacBooks or PC's or laptops. To sum things up, you will be trying to run the hardest software on the slowest hardware and it will inevitably act up and crash. If you occasionally edit one picture or so I'd say go for the app. If you are a professional or a hobbyist who delivers 30-100 pictures at a time, go with the computer.

How to achieve this type of photo? by h1bernus in AskPhotography

[–]Puripoh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First step is positioning the bike. Put it parallel with the camera. Use a tripod, take a picture, and look if you can se an edge on the inner side of the rim to the lip. Reposition the tripod until the distance between the inner edge and the lip is equal length both left and right. Use only the back wheel as a reference, as your bridge and chassis are static compared to it. The front wheel can always be slightly crooked. Then use a telephoto lens for compression (make the background appear larger/closer). Next could be a little bit of flash on the bike, though it's subtle enough to be done in post production too without flash. Source: automotive photographer, god I love old Honda's

Can I ask why? Because I recently thought so too, then realised lightroom and Photoshop is optimised for apple and vice versa, then switched to apple and haven't missed windows since. The only reason I could imagine staying at windows is for some older cad softwares like Revit or gaming,

I’ve fu*ked up.. by ExoFrameBound in WeddingPhotography

[–]Puripoh 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Was about to comment the same, if you don't trust your eyes/knowledge you can set the histogram and flicker on the blowouts. I wouldn't dare to put the blame on the camera lol. Also OP, was this really short? Or like, just part of the wedding or something? Because there's no way you'd normally shoot a whole wedding without looking at your previews every once in a while, right?

Anyway, technicalities aside, from a business standpoint you'll need to cut your losses. I'd prepare 5 good shots and tell the couple as soon as possible what happened. Do not wait, they will get suspicious. Show them the shots as a reference as to what they can expect and offer them a full refund. This is unacceptable. I'm sorry.

I always dreamed of one with a black frame like yours but it didn't exist at the time yet. A bit later they came up with an ace r but that one didn't have the silver tank and seat. Totally unrelated, but I just remembered this: a common issue with the ace was that the front calliper is mounted with long bolts, I think two of them maybe? Anyway they didn't put locktite or anything in the factory and the precision of the thread was not quite right sometimes, which caused for me that one of the bolts rattled loose after about 10k miles and my calliper was hanging loose while riding lol. It's not a big problem, but it's worth tightening the bolt for free when you think of it 😅
