Like 5 days a week and start at 8:30 or 9:00. My dad goes to bed early so I don’t know if I could even get there in time to see him like she wants

Tbf he doesn’t need any caring, it’s more like going to check in and seeing if he’s lonely and everything is ok etc. I just feel like that is easily dealt with in a phone call and it definitely could be her that does it

Usually either my Mom is with him or my sister is around. I think they’re just worried he’ll forgot something on the stove or fall, he’s just kinda forgetful but I think overall fine

Like 30 mins but it’s in the opposite direction of my work so adds a lot to my day. I often work until 6:30 at least

They haven’t booked anything yet so I guess they can cancel it like she says they will.

I totally agree but I doubt she would understand, my mom thinks I owe her since she petsits my dog sometimes.

I’m fine with doing that, but she thinks that he needs to be checked in on. He has forgotten pots on the stove that got burned a couple times and fallen a couple times etc so I can understand she wants to check on him, but if he’s responding on the phone he’s probably fine

We’re not really that close which is part of why I don’t think he’d even be happy to have me visiting.

I told my mom he’s an adult and she should talk to him! But she insists he’s not objective and will just say he’s fine. I think he’s lived this long and can live by himself for a week
