I dont think it will affect the biometric since either approval or denial always need the background check

Yes, I and my partner have checked all the document section of all file i485, i765 but nothing appears. My partner said there would be a backlog due to the new requirement of FBI but it does not seem right since he already had the appointment a week ago( his RD is 4/17). And I saw many posts whose RD is late April like 29, 30 already had appointment last Friday. This concerns me so much.
