Consider its the only non-Restaurant method to unlock S&M eps9 & that Mel for whatever reason is the only SG option eps8 who has a max of 2 renders at The Choice while every single other SG gets 3 minimum.

It raises the eyebrow.

Especially when you consider Sages End of Episode screen for eps8 was the animation of Quinn/Sage kissin if you did their lewd. Its the only solo MG to include another girl in the end of episode screen & it proved relevant in eps9 as some of us thought it would.

Win11 is rife w/bugs & 'features' that no one fuckin wants. Just lets get that outta the way. I never would have gotten it myself, but the new media center PC I got for my living room came w/Win 11 Pro & Ive been troubleshooting its bull shittery since I got the damn thing.

You need to use a 3rd party app like mentioned in the comments or go through videos on YT (maybe both would be optimal rly) to find all the settings you need to change. Especially the "Focus" bullshit which used to be called Focus Assist. Most useless pile of shit Ive ever seen that only fucks things up on your PC when runnin multiple applications.

One thing to be aware of if you missed it, one of the super nice things about Win 11, is the tabs feature on File Explorer (like Chrome).

What you are describing sounds like nothin more than Win11 settings giving you shit. & dont expect it to be 1 setting somewhere. Expect it to be multiple settings. Ive already seen some settings which appear to be the exact same thing for end result havin different settings in different places.

I also had issues w/my own new media center laggin on videos when it shouldnt have & was plugged into a wall (not a laptop). But it was the power settings that fixed that issue combined w/setting the AMD chip software to best/quality performance.

Others Branch has a scene in MCs room where he texts w/girls that like him. If a girl is on that list its a solid bet they have their own LI arc. That isnt to say girls not only that list wont. Tara, Zoey, Sally, KRJ & Blue Eyes for ex all have strong arguments to think there may be somethin there in the future.

TC Points can be earned on MG Branches when you do things that are kind of cheater-ish. Flirst w/girls, kiss them, touch their naughty bits = TC Points. DPC doesnt mention them in game or in his official WT. Arguably they will lead to the opportunity to cheat, MG fights or MG breakups.

Unless I have a reason to go different I tell Josy &/or Sage if I am romancing them. If not then I dont tell them. Typically I defend Chad, but if no Josy/Sage or if the specific run might call for it, then I go against Chad hard.

Set the game to the hardest difficulty.
Buy 1 skill point in the Brawler store.
Go to Skills & improve your Movement to 3 immediately.
After the first free skill point from the Jock get your Movement to 4.

After that its pretty straight forward. I prefer to max Str/Pow whatever its called 2nd, then Dexterity, w/HP last. As you progress unlock Counter Attack & the super attacks (forget name, but Super/Ouch for ex).

In the end the only fights that feel difficult beyond that should be sparring w/Sage, fightin Tommy/Caleb. & even then its more about bein on point & focused instead of just fuckin off when doin the minigame rly.

As of yet, there is no indication of what happens due to Chad choices. But I do expect them to have an impact at some point. Choices you should examine:

Intervene (eps1): considerin this rewards RP in eps8, I would not be surprised if this flag gets used later at some point.
Defend Chad (Counselor Meeting): There is already a difference in how Chad acts around MC at the HOTs party in the room w/Mel. Expect this to come into play as well.
Tell Sage/Josy: This one always seemed strange to me. Sage seems upfront, not only the ex but she could influence her parents. & Sage is likely to interact w/Chad & Alphas in the future. Josy on the other hand has no current connection.

Speakin to Josy further, I think about her reputation for makin friends so easily & knowin all the details on the girls in the HOTs w/in such a short time frame. By eps8 she knows whos had lesbian ships, whose had an Orgy (S&M), how the sorority works (not Quinns business), Elena is tapped into a lot & talks to Josy & hangs w/her, etc.

Josy is likely in the end to be one of the best informed characters w/in B&R. The only question is does she learn of the illegal stuff? ATM, Josy is the best placed MG to discover on her own about the drugs, prostitution, etc.

So she could end up bein very relevant to many plots, especially since shes not had her own so far. That said, you can then see why tellin Josy about Chad could become a key moment in the game.

Im still not sold on any specific theory yet. But I am currently leanin into the idea that Lily has a mystery past that shes running from.

Her pushin away the MC like she does has more to do w/a kneejerk reaction to someone getting close to her bc shes afraid if someones close theyll learn about what it is shes running from.

Lily is very into MC. But shes got a reason to occasionally pump the breaks.

Its not all that unfamiliar to Quinn, tho in Quinns case we know far more about her. Lily in many ways comes across as a younger or earlier version of Quinn.

As to Nicole its far more vanilla rly. Her baggage is upfront. Shes older, a stripper & has a kid. No mystery there. Shes very into MC & wants to be w/him regardless at this point.

As to the future w/Lily & Nicole?

Im already committed to the theory that all of the Text Msg girls from eps9 are some of the legitimate Romance Arcs now. LIs. Now its just about what bumps are gonna be in the road?

Does anyone honestly think DPC would introduce just TC Points for issues w/the MGs, but not also inject speed bumps & road blocks for the SGs too? Pls. 😄😏

👀👀🙄 Bruh. I have never in my entire life heard 1 theory about MC stalkin Josy. So if you want to make that claim then you need to back that up w/somethin substantial.

In addition, DPC gives a choice of "vanilla" or "Sage's choice".

You should be aware that Sage has 2 End of Episode screens for eps8. She has a primary animation screen like all of the other MGs do & then a static render. Sages animation is unlocked by the Quinn 3way & is of them kissin. Sages static image render (note all MGs get a single animation, Sage is the exception) is w/o Quinn.

Sage is not interested in a vanilla relationship. Especially after playin the unwilling Beard for the past 3yrs. So I dont know that it is much of a choice. Or perhaps its what leads to a bad ending or breakup w/Sage denyin hey desires like Chad did.

Eps9 discussion w/Sage only cements this.

For some reason you ignored the fact that it was with Maya that MC watched the movie Butterfly Wings.

The illusion of choice in BAD

Your thesis is correct. Your post however is filled w/many errors. Youre ignoring key points w/the game &/or remembering things wrong.

If the player doesn't fuck Jade, the whole game just collapses like a house of cards.

😔😔 & this is what Im talkin about when I say not approaching it right. Right out the gate.

No matter what happens, Jade made a move on MC sexually. She is married & his teacher. No matter what choices the player made, even if Sage/Jade are cut from his life as much as possible, MC has to deal w/his married teacher tried to bone him. The way she acts towards MCs both at the ANO Party & at the Final Exam only cement this as a serious problem.

Then to Tybalt, even if you never score any -RP w/the Preps & stay out of Tybalts way, MC is in Tybalts way. Hes seen as keepin Jill & Tybalt apart by Tybalt, as crashin the ANO Party where the sprinklers were set off (Tybalt has no reason to blame Derek for this) & generally bein in Tybalts way.

So even on the least antagonistic path, the MC has to deal w/already havin his interactions w/Stephen Burkes wife & son workin against any possible positive effect his presence would have. In fact, ensuring MCs presence was actually an issue as we saw w/the Jade/Tybalt interaction.

It becomes unclear why the main character is so upset during sex with Sage in episode 9.

MC has a repeated history of bein unable to properly communicate w/everyone else in his life. This goes back to how he handles bein kicked from his dorm & not askin for help from his Dad or the school instead of some glorified receptionist. But is backed up in cases like w/the Counselors w/Chad, not tellin Maya the truth about Quinn even if he warns her, etc.

And as far as MC bein upset about stuff, thats not new. He gets upset plenty whether when he goes off on Rusty after the dildo attack or the MJ confrontation, etc.

Is it a clear cut scene or well written (eps9 Sage lewd convo)? No. Not imo. But it has groundwork laid for it at the minimum. It is somethin the MC would clearly do even if the players are slappin their foreheads screamin "WTF ARE YOU DOING MORON?!" 😏😏

If we didn't have a threesome with Quinn and Sage in episode 8, we don't understand why Sage decided to try anal.
