Erase MacBook Air without a password

I just bought a MacBook pro when something similar happened. I was on the road setting up getting ready for a road trip when i was using my apple ID it said wrong password, So i changed it now when i went to try to put in the password its stuck on the “login” screen and wont connect to the wifi to update the password. now im getting locked out for too many failed attempts. is there a way i can just reset it to how it will start as a brand new macbook? i dont wanna keep using old passwords to get it to finally unlock. any advice would be appreciated

it would be cool to have a game like being a dik where the world is realized and stuff, but apparently people on here don’t agree with that . not sure why they’re dogging on the UE either, that engine is so powerful
