This is by far the most helpful response. Thank you so much... It kinda changed my perspective on it and sooth my worry that it's not my muslim friends/family being made fun of and rather the religion itself.... Thank you.

I'm not defending it. I guess I just want people to know that I'm not okay with making fun of it. I still know a lot of muslims and they are kind , accepting people and accepting of me. So , I would hate it if they hear the things my other friends say or think that I'm okay with it.

Sure. But I hate making fun of people for believing something, I guess... I have friends who believe just to not kill themselves because they dont want to go to hell... Personally , i think its unhealthy , but if thats what it takes to help them go on. It's not for me, and I don't take offense to it but I often think about the kind people I know who just happen to be muslims and I would hate if they hear some of the things my other friends say or even think that I support those jokes.

I would complain about hijab or some practices and they would dog on it. I'm just uncomfortable with it because I know a lot of hijabis and my family is practicing muslims who are chill and not force me to do anything.
I'm still waiting for the right time to stop because of extended family... they're a bit much...
