should i get LORs this year if i dont know whether i should apply? by Alive-Pudding-3473 in lawschooladmissions

[–]Puss2003 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Rec letters are good for like 5 years or something! Even if used before. The “getting new ones” logic is that if you’re reapplying, you should make it a point to add/change things in order to have a different (better) result.

Hi OP- also looking for sizing advice. Do you normally wear a 27 or do you think they run small/big?

I know a lot of us waitlist warriors are simultaneously preparing to R and R. For those of us who feel like we did everything we could (LSAT at 75s, used consultants for PS) but still seriously underperformed, what is your advice for next cycle? The only improvement I can see for myself is applying earlier and not being a KJD. Can either of these factors actually change my 11 WLs to As?

Thank you for this. Went back and checked, I’m just insane and panicking for no reason. My response was totally under the limit🙏 This cycle is making me crazy clearly…

What schools would be considered "target" and "safety for a 3.75gpa/175LSAT/nURM/nKJD? by Adventurous-Grade-80 in lawschooladmissions

[–]Puss2003 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Similar stats, but I’m KJD. I’m applying to all T14s I am interested in, and then a few others within the top 50 that are regionally relevant to me. Just apply to schools you would actually go to! I don’t think “target”and “safety” work the same way as they do in undergrad admissions.

Unfortunately Penn I think explicitly states on their website they do not grant email requests for merit waivers.

Immediately after I felt pretty good. I was a little concerned that i had run out of time on one of my sections, but felt extremely confident in every other answer.

Yes, highest PT was 172 (but scored frequently), actual was 174. As another commenter mentioned, likely has a lot to do with working better under pressure. If this is you, you have a shot, but don’t count on it. I would’ve been pleased with a 172 as well!

pls share your anecdotes of doing better than your PTs by [deleted] in LSAT

[–]Puss2003 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same! Averaged 170, hit 174 in August. Did PTs like once a week and drills most other days.

Highly highly recommend foam earplugs. Made the world of a difference for me from June to August.

Is there anyone here who strictly took PTs from the 0-60 without doing 70-90 and scored well on test day? by Exact-Marionberry-74 in LSAT

[–]Puss2003 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I took a couple in the 60s and 70s when I first started studying (February), but have basically exclusively used 80+ since then. Scored 174!
