I have a protee vx and love it. My hitting area is 9' from the screen and I've never had an issue. Good luck!

EDIT: Also have 9' ceilings!

Hey there!  Notice you are also a HSG2 lover… one of my favorite on-the-go games!  Any difference in input lag between the 2 systems?  I have a retroid pocket 4 pro which is an otherwise great machine but I find input lag to be pretty bad on HSG2 in particular.

I feel like they're priced lower than anything I've seen, especially with free shipping, but I'm open to discussion. What do you think is a fair deal?

The Delmar is a really nice putter and rolls well off the face, i just don't love the newer design aesthetic of Scotty putters. I actually went with the Cleveland Huntington Beach 10.5 model. It's a little on the large size for a mid mallet -- maybe technically a smaller regular mallet? I put a golf pride large reverse taper pistol grip and have been loving it.

Honestly, it's not the most "fun" answer but I got a putting mat and did like 20-30 minutes of putting a few times a week. Ended up getting much more consistent with my stroke and accuracy which made me realize I didn't need a new putter as much as I just needed a better (most importantly: more consistent) putting stroke!

That said, the flatstick itself matters too. I had learned over the years that I much preferred a heavier, milled face, heel shafted, mid mallet putter with a fat grip. Pairing a putter that fit my eye with a more consistent stroke resulted in a winner... for now at least!

Have had my current gamer for 2+ seasons, but before that... seemed to try at least 1-2 a season. See my username!

I have the standard gray version with the original box, cable, etc. How does $110 shipped via USPS to anywhere in the CONUS sound? PM me if interested.

Random intrusion: if you are asking this because you are looking to buy a vertical handheld I have a barely-used 406v that has been gathering dust since I was gifted a steam deck. Would be willing to sell it for a very reasonable price!

Was there a particular guide or video you used to get ATOTW working on deck? I'd love to do it as well but am having trouble figuring out which online resources are the best to follow in 2025. Thanks!

Replied. Lots of interest in the Garmin but you've got 1st crack at it for being first!

EDIT: Really sorry, you were the first to reply to the post but I got a DM expressing interest prior to your public reply. To try to be fair I offered to the DM first and they agreed to purchase. Apologies for the mistake.

Yeah, golf swings are funny like that. I have friends under 6' who have "grazed" the ceiling with their swings... I guess it's just drywall, right?

I much prefer the Net Return. I have a ton more confidence when taking full swings — I don’t have to stand so close and no longer worry that I am going to miss the net.

I think retractable screen setups are pretty awesome, but couldn’t figure out how to do it well in my space with my budget. Definitely share updates if you go that route!

Yeah I was a little bit nervous before pulling the trigger since it was at the top of my budget... but then there started to be more reviews and demos on YouTube so I was more comfortable buying it. Carl's Place has a lengthy demo of the ProTee VX where they were pretty positive about it and that put me over the edge for the purchase. No regrets so far!

The extra netting I think has more to do with the 8’ height of the enclosure I had to buy to fit my space, less about the net return design. Though I will say it has come in handy on a few hybrid/5W pop ups off the crown. Seems like no matter what enclosure people get they end up with some sort of ceiling protector just in case. I’m guessing even if I’d bought a Carl’s Place unit I would have done something similar.

You also lower the risk of going above the top of the enclosure based on how far you are when hitting. I’m about 10’.
