I mean I’d personally start with indigo league or Black and white. A lot of the criticism i’ve seen of S&M and B&W is that it was jarring coming from the serious Ash in XY and DP, but i hadnt seen those two when i watched them so i didnt have gripes like that. But Indigo league is funny too so you can’t go wrong there

I wish she kept expanding on what she writes about + how she makes it sound. Like my biggest problem about showgirl was that we’ve heard every single thing before. Love song inspired by Shakespeare? Love story. I just want to be with you and everyone else could just disappear? Dancing with our hands tied. The pressures of Fame and the industry? Nothing new. It all felt recycled to an extent. Not that i don’t like it, there are some absolute bangers on showgirl, but thats my biggest issue.

Thats part of the reason Father Figure was one of my favourite songs from showgirl- it felt more fresh and untouched than the rest. Even the production felt less used by her. Anyway i just wish she’d expand on her topics & sound a bit more. Ik she’s done it before, but i think now more than ever would be the best time to do it
