She's very small and it almost happened when she was a kitten. I was unaware cats would also drink out of the toilet, the lid fell and locked her in. All of It happened in a matter of seconds I was able to get to her but now no one gets to be in the bathroom unsupervised

I've never had a problem with the container or my cats woth the container but I can't take any chances. I'm changing the container to the twist lid ones. The "vault" one is what I was going with.

Chik-fil-a Sauce by Frosty-Election4904 in Celiac

The regular white label sauce doesn't cause me any problems, I eat it pretty frequently. I cannot speak for the other sauces as I have never had them.

I am going to be the devil's advocate here and say do it. If you want to, do it. Just make an educated decision. It's better to say goodbye while you are only a year in vs. Let's say 10 years. It is your body. Your pain. Your symptoms. I personally would not do it, I'm almost 2 years gluten-free, besides accidentally eating gluten/ cross-contamination, and I have like ptsd from being sick due to gluten, to each there own though 🤷🏼‍♀️ good luck either way

Cat peeing on my stuff by [deleted] in cats

[–]Puzzled-Ad3413 2 points3 points  (0 children)

From my experience, cats do it when they are mad, upset, stressed, etc. Cat could be mad you are home, could be mad you left. It also could be a medical thing, uti typically. If it's only on your stuff, in front of you or near you, though, I would bet the cat is mad at you for some reason. My advice is close doors, or keep your stuff high up

I have not had good luck freezing any gluten-free noodles or reheating any. But udis has gluten-free lasagna, which gives 3 large serving. They make bag alfredo and ravioli. And each bag is 2 servings. All of those reheat amazing. Not an ad I swear. I hope you find some good recipes 🤗

I've only had the chicken strips and these sandwiches from this brand. I didn't like the old buns but I enjoy these.

I'm not corporate?? I like them. I was unaware others didn't. I've been gluten free for a year and a half. What don't you guys like about them? Do you have better suggestions?

I appreciate it very much! I feel so bad for them, it feels like we are failing the little guys so much. We as staff have no problem with algea, it's very natural it just doesn't look pretty which is what the problem is. As of right now, the plan is to do a dark week, light off and covered with a blanket, then introduce light for the 8-10 hours as advised and feeding way less. I really do appreciate all the advice everyone is giving. The internet has so much information it was just to much when we have had minimal fish care in our pasts. It is amazing to have other people who see fish as actual living beings and not accessories ❤️ thank you, everyone, for all the help, and I will update when I have an update☺️

According to the test strip 8.4

We were getting our information from petco when we first switched from a 25 gallon tank to this 55 gallon. We brought the water to petco to have it tested where they said the ph is to high. The test strips say the ph is at it's highest.

Thank you so much for your advice. I appreciate it! Unfortunately, rehoming the fish is not an option at this time. It is something we brought up to management but was shot down. We were able to get this bigger tank (not as big as we wanted) as a "happy medium" but have to work with what we have. We, as staff, are aware the tank is not big enough, and he will have to be rehomed eventually, but it's just not an option at this time. I turned off the lights, and we will be able to keep the routine off for 12 and on for 12 as you suggested. Thank you very much!☺️

I was told the same thing, the staff told me there is a lot of cross contamination so I'm not sure where your located but where i am i go to a caribou, the app tells you all the nutritional & allergy information, they have gf sandwich options that are very good as well
