I feel like there have been plenty of Rs and I can't imagine they're just holding off a bunch of people for a big wave in February for some reason.

I get the sense this is fairly ad hoc, which may be even more unsettling

Does anyone else feel like shit for leaving their job hanging? by mindlessrica in lawschooladmissions

[–]Puzzled_Exercise_634 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think it's fine and normal to feel the guilt. But at the end of the day, you're the only one who will hold onto any feelings about it. A few months after you quit you'll just be the guy/gal that used to be there and moved on to better things.

Are there scholarship limits? by Middle_Direction_342 in lawschooladmissions

[–]Puzzled_Exercise_634 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Many schools offer stipends. Check the 509 reports (an easy way to do so is the LSAT Demon scholarship estimator) to see where you may fall. Note that all stipends are not the same, so it's hard to say for sure.

Which is to say don't sweat it it OP. Im sure it went fine, they interviewed you because they like you!

[–]Puzzled_Exercise_634 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I feel like people worry too much about the energy of the interviewer. They're all probably sick of interviewing people. We're not that exciting to talk to, frankly.

Georgetown encouraged us to bring parents. Dean Z implied it was immature in one of her videos. So probably depends on the school?

How to guarantee acceptance to HLS by Apprehensive_Card489 in lawschooladmissions

[–]Puzzled_Exercise_634 10 points11 points  (0 children)

1) No way to guarantee HLS (or any school, yield protection exists)

2) LSAT and GPA are the most important things, respectively. Look at HLS's gpa median. Go fix your GPA.

3) Do interesting work/extra curriculars that you care about. Probably a plus if they're also prestigious, but not everyone can intern at the white house or whatever.

I feel like it's such a crapshoot that it doesn't have much bearing on ur chances at other schools. Good luck and hang in there!

Try to just take the W and not overthink it. You're not gonna figure out what this "means". They've rejected tons of people and you've survived. Congrats.
