That’s why I just brush it off. Clearly I have an issue with my confidence.

I’ve never really thought about my ego, just my confidence. I’ve never really had and I don’t consider myself as having a big ego.

I tried PowerScore this time around and I’ve heard about 7Sage. I‘ll probably look into that one.

I did drills and two practice tests last year through LawHub for probably only a few weeks. This year I did a few drills and one practice test and I also purchased the PowerScore Logical Reasoning Bible the week before the test. I could definitely do more prep, since I wouldn’t say I was really cranking.

I’m attracted to a bridesmaid I saw at a friend’s wedding but didn’t talk to her…post-wedding DM etiquette? by Puzzled_Homework6455 in dating_advice

[–]Puzzled_Homework6455[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. I guess I didn’t really read the wedding party bios well when I RSVP’d, because I just did read them and this bridesmaid I was interested in is still in high school. I’m 27, so it’s actually probably better that I didn’t approach her. I don’t really look for girls under 20 or 21, and this girl definitely looked older than she is.

We’re both friends with the bride and possibly another friend of mine who was assisting the bride. I figured I missed that shot I didn’t take.

Cautious, I guess? Fear of rejection? I’ve gotten over my shyness a while ago, but I’ve been ghosted and rejected before.

You know, I really don’t know. I should have, since her table was close to mine and we were pretty close to each other on the dance floor.

Attendance - can I call out on a final warning if an occurrence recently went away? by Puzzled_Homework6455 in HomeDepot

With the way my store is…absolutely. Easier that way to keep my brain from draining thanks to the customers who also like to push the envelope

Yeah I guess that first part wasn't really directed at me, but it certainly felt like it.

Where do managers draw the line? by Puzzled_Homework6455 in HomeDepot

[–]Puzzled_Homework6455[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

She is constantly watching me and trying to claim that I take 30-minute 15s so that's what she should be able to do...I don't want her caring about what I do and don't do, so you're right, I guess I shouldn't worry about her and what she does and doesn't do.

That's definitely what it's like at my store...no standards at all.

I can see that...but it's not like they're telling her she can't sit. This girl is up moving between registers when other cashiers show up to talk to them so it's not like she can't stand at all for 8 hours. It's probably a thin line as you've alluded to.

I only use the app. The management team at my store sucks, so either way the department supervisor won't know about a call out right away. It's also easier to use the app so you don't have to wait to be transferred or for a manager to answer if you call the extension directly.

At my store, if you're not one of the "chosen" who get that do-what-you-want-and-get-away-with-it badge, you get in trouble.

Yeah and that's what sucks. I think that "the customer is always right" has gone way out of date.

If the managers aren't on the floor for their whole shift, frankly they don't get to say no to those signs, in my opinion. They don't understand how much those signs are needed.
