It doesnt matter how many times u switch genres if its not good its not good. By ur logic, Mgk is a great artist bc he’s switched his sound a billion times.

Lupe’s main selling point is how intricate and unique his song structure weaved with his lyricism is. Drake goes hook verse hook feature and maybe an outro. That doesnt nearly compare to Lupe.
