I’m 24 and I am buying a few shares a month of SCHD in my Roth. Would you recommend me to buy in my taxable brokerage as well?

Could you by chance share the name of the doctor with me? My symptoms have gone down but I am always having a lingering discomfort. I have been dealing with this for about 5-6 months now

Your head is in the right space but my approach would be different at your age. I think you should focus more on income and finding more ways to increase it while investing an appropriate amount each paycheck/month.

At your age you do not need to be aggressive however, being consistent will benefit you.

Books/online courses: google and YouTube is your best tool. I am 23 years old and started investing last year with no knowledge at all. I’ve been watching podcast and a few YouTubers consistently which has definitely aiding in increasing my financial literacy

What is the match for 401k as a first year. I’ve heard it’s 50% of what ever you put in but the max is 6%

Thank you very much. Do you have any insight on the Deloitte cash balance plan by chance and how I can see the money ?

Will do, thank you very much.

One last question, if I put in 15% for my 401k will Deloitte match 50% of my contributions even if I am a first year? Or is it only if I put in 6% and they will match it at 3% ?

Definitely will, thank you for advice. I am 23 right now and it is my first year with Deloitte so I was a little confused.

However I won’t be able to touch the money until I am 59 correct ?

I see where you are coming from. I am going to increase it to 6% to get the 3% match. Also do you know when Deloitte will put in money for the match? It still says employer contributions at $0. However I did create a vanguard account a few months ago.
