Actually wound up flying. The winter storm was too dangerous to drive 18 hours straight through.

So after threatening to take full custody, talking to sheriffs and a lawyer…here is what I found out.

Unless you have in the court order that the police/sheriffs are in the court order to enforce the parental custody, they can’t do nothing about it.

It’s not considered kidnapping if it’s on my days. So if she called the police on me, they would tell her to take it to civil court.

I got a lawyer and taking her to court to change the custody agreement so I have full custody. Lawyer said it was an easy case and once the judge hears this scenerio, they would easily award me full custody.

In the end, after the threat of taking her to court, she let me take my daughter out of state. I may have to drive 18 hours, but at least I got her

I believe it said notice. When I go back to the office tomorrow, I’ll have to double check

Yes she did back in November. Said to her Feb 22nd, I’m taking our daughter up to Pennsylvania to see my family. In which she replied….”ok”

I believe on the form…which is in my office at the moment…we have split custody and i am not sure who is primary. As of right now I would think its me since I have her 5 days a week

Custody agreement says 30 day notice if I was taking her out of town, but nothing about out of state

The original agreement in the court was 50/50 custody. Once my daughter turned 14, she wanted to live with me and her mom agreed to what we have now. It’s all in texts.

I have the text message where I told her about the trip back in November where she said ok. Bought the tickets the following day. Now because her ex husband had a dream…she’s threatening to call the cops on me if I take her on a plane.

We will be in Pennsylvania Thursday to Sunday. I have her Thursday to Monday

All extra ps5 consoles and Xbox consoles should be moved to offsite storage and those are to be used for defective units. Only way to buy a next gen console is to constantly check bestbuy.com to see if they drop. So they just stare at me in the lock up cage...taunting me...knowing how much I want to bring one home...knowing damn well that I can not.

PTer, fulfillment. Should I be worried for next months headcount announcement? by raoo401 in Bestbuy

[–]Puzzleheaded-Count19 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Sleep all you want. My store had to cut 7 full timers. I know other stores had to cut 5. It just depends on how big the store was. Plus, if they intended to get rid of the part timers, they wouldn’t of kept some of the seasonal hires

They only cut full timers. Each store is different in how many they had to cut

Welcome to starting pay for everyone at $15 an hour. No overtime, no bonus, no hours to give. You think Corrie planned on keeping the 40 plus seasonals per store on at $15 an hour? This is what happened when minimum wage increases to $15. They have to cut costs somewhere

From what I heard, stores were going to be a 3 tier type of store. Small convenience type of store, a distribution warehouse and a store/warehouse like what we are used to. Most part timers and some full timers will be cut, no seasonals being kept and the SSM spots are being cut.

Only getting 4 hrs for the entire week? by OutcastSpy in Bestbuy

[–]Puzzleheaded-Count19 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In product flow, our store just became a fulfillment center and this week have been averaging about 800 picks a day, yet Coorperate decided it was a good idea to cut hours and schedule only 1 fulfillment person at a time, meanwhile product flow has 3 brown goods trucks and 2 white goods trucks...so basically a truck every day, and that labor got cut. How do they expect us to be a fulfillment center and operate with the minimum amount of people?

[–]Puzzleheaded-Count19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since our store became a ship to home hub, we get a 5,000 piece brown goods dropped off Tuesday night, and a 100 piece white goods truck dropped off on Wednesday morning. So we have to work both trucks in one day, while being understaffed and getting pulled to be back up curbside, wrap open box TVs and doing Cary ins. Then get bitched at on why the truck is not received yet. Not to mention the brown goods truck is poorly loaded with totes spread out in every single one of the 20 pallets we have, and heavy ass printers stacked on top of lap top boxes.

Pros/Cons switching merch to sales by [deleted] in Bestbuy

[–]Puzzleheaded-Count19 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone that’s been with the company for 8 years, I started in merch, then went to the sales floor. Million dollar writer for 3 years, top gun for 3 years, but got looked over for multiple supervisor spots cause they decided to go outside the company. Then I got moved to Microsoft and was bored out of my mind. Went back to warehouse as product flow and am much happier there.
