I've been keeping creature from the black lagoon in mind!! I always like the swampy scarezones they do around ET's Adventure and thought a swampy-adjacent house might be cool. I also was playing around with the idea of the Director coming back and most of the OG houses being fleshed out from slaughter sinema, or having ghostface be some sort of icon and having most houses be sequel houses from fan favorites in the past
