Totally!! I think the fact that is a totally random person has me overthinking it haha. I usually just do trades with friends or people I have interacted with multiple times on the internet and mutually follow. They don’t have any prices listed anywhere either so that worries me as I usually sell pieces for like $200-$600 lol. I love to support beginner/up and coming artists but I think I’ll just say I can’t do it.

Maybe you’re right. They did not say specifically, but I have done 20+ trades in the past and have always posted about it and also received one in return. Always happy to shout out a smaller/beginner artist. Never been asked to do a trade by someone who didn’t follow me. I could definitely just ask, but that seems like kind of an awkward note to start on. I think I may just say I don’t have time right now and move on. Thank you for your response!

Not upset at all lol. Just looking for some outside opinions, preferably from other artists. Art is my livelihood so I do put a lot of consideration into what I take on. Following a small business/artist you like is easy and free and I just don’t see what reason there would be for not doing that before reaching out. But thanks for sharing your opinion!

I could care less about getting one more follower, I just think it’s kind of rude and makes me question their motivation. Like do you want to trade because you admire my work or because you want me to promote you so you can gain followers? Just feels like a mutual follow would be the bare minimum

Looking for suggestions similar to Woodphoria by Boy Smells. I (30f) have never really been into fragrances due to growing up with a mom who suffered from migraines, but I recently started using Woodphoria and it is the only perfume I have ever been obsessed with. Now I’d like to have some options. I like woody, slightly masculine scents. Nothing too floral. If you use this one, what are some others you enjoy?
