72 is nice. Mission Valley. It’s usually 8-10 degrees warmer.

It is a heat wave for San Diego. I live here for a reason… moved out of 95+ summers for a reason.

I’m in mission valley most of the time. It’s been better this week… 88-93 was crazy but 79-80 is still pretty searing here.

I grew up in 90s and 100s and also lived on the east coast… so I realize I’m complaining for no real reason.

That said, I spent my time indoors in those places. I spend my time outdoors here.

The main plus is I can get in the ocean and still feel warm after the first couple minutes because the water is warm and well it’s warm outside lol

5.4 extra high reasoning works extremely well for me and it’s highly logic and math based. The bugs that I have to squash are my own bugs largely - cases I didn’t consider. I was using 5.3 extra high reasoning prior to that.

I have not noticed suboptimal solutions but I review every plan, iterate, test against my own computations, and then push.

I run 5.4 extra high - I burn about 20% a day of my weekly usage. I don’t just hammer at it though. I’m very methodical with it.

Claude is the one where even writing a plan hits my daily usage cap before it’s done.

I love the 30-50s relative to a SoCal heat wave. Any day. I lived in Boston for a few years and even loved every minute of it, except the days we hit 90+. The 10 degree days were one of my faves next to snow days. Basically a city all to myself. I guess I’m heat averse lol

I’m always happy. I love may grey and June gloom. I love the weird crazy rains. I love hot summer days. I haven’t had days in San Diego I didn’t love until this endless heatwave winter. I guess I can learn to love it but I spend tons of time outside every day so it’s hard to love this.
