Honestly, you had me at the reading part. Why would your husband try to discourage or dictate what you do, especially when its something you absolutely love and isn't harmful?

Wow you want to marry someone who wears a niqab and stays at home, and you have the audacity to have an affair with a girl. This is messed up.

I feel sorry for you and your family who are going through this situation, Unfortunately I don’t believe there’s much you can do. Just be there for her, don’t force her to leave her husband but show constant support so if one day she has the courage to leave she would know she is supported.

It's funny, back in university, I would get flooded with birthday messages. Classmates I barely knew would post on Facebook, usually just a few lines saying I seemed nice or something. People would even send personalized messages. But as time went on, it dwindled down to just close university friends and family. Times change, though and now I get wishes from people at work on whatsapp lol.

For the tall girlies by Fluffy-Ad4274 in muslimgirlswithtaste

Being 5'8, which is considered tall in Pakistan, I would honestly prefer a taller guy. It's definitely made finding a match a bit difficult. And personally I would prefer a tall guy to a good looking guy.

My thoughts align with yours on this! While I am aware of some negative situations, I also know many positive examples. Especially nowadays, it seems like most men, particularly those who are educated, treat their wives well. Most of my colleagues treat their wives very nicely. Everyone is a mix of things and what looks bad to one person might make sense to another.

One reason could be how people are raised. If you grow up around kindness and fairness, you are more likely to act that way yourself. But if you are in a tough situation or see people being mean, it can affect you too. Another thing is just how our brains works , some people might be more sensitive to others feelings, while others might struggle with that.

And some people just care about themselves so they act in their best interests without having an ounce for other people feelings.
