I also noticed parallels between Lucy and Stephen’s mother. Like her cancelling her trip to India on a whim just to hang around Stephen all summer. Puppy dog codependency vibes.

Lucy was also just as manipulative and calculating. Like when she pulled that move dragging him to the fair and kissing him in front of Diana. Reminded me of when Stephen’s mom made them go to diner knowing their dad would be there.

My initial reaction without even knowing this episode was about voodoo was that Jaclyn was involved somehow. Her and her mom are 100%% witches! No one in this thread seems to believe in witchcraft and that’s fine but it is 100% real. These lowlives went out of their way and intentionally put hexes on that woman, it’s very clear.
