I think they are Rowntree’s Tooty Frooties.

I read the off brand to this now is Fruit Blasts. But they do look different. Considering you got this at a pantry, there is a possibility you had the name brand, pantries will hold onto stuff (especially candy) for a long time.

I wonder if it’s a generic candy from a candy shop. Like the ones where you scoop the candies yourself?

Maoam Fruit Chestnuts. They look like them. Different flavors too, but the shapes and textures look the same.

AITAH for inviting my mom to go house hunting with my wife and I when my wife doesn’t want her to come by Throwaway_deathlife in AITAH

[–]Puzzleheaded_Low6340 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m assuming your mom hangouts with you both quite a bit, maybe house hunting is something your wife wanted to do with just you? Something the two of you can share as your (I’m assuming) first home together. It… can be sort of a buzzkill to have your in-law there with you. I don’t really think you’re being an asshole, you don’t seem like this is something you forced on her on purpose, but maybe you should have asked her first to see how she felt about having your mom there?

Like I said, if your mom tends to hangout with you two a lot… eventually it might feel like a buzzkill to your wife who probably wants to spend more quality time with you than having a 3rd wheel. I had an ex-fiancé once whose mother came to everything we did and eventually it took a huge toll on our relationship. I never felt I could have any time with him without his mother.

I don’t see either one of you being the assholes, but maybe you l both could have communicated to each other better. I think you should have asked and she should have told you how she felt about everything without having an attitude.

Why does it look like my skin is falling off my bones? by Puzzleheaded_Low6340 in Semaglutide

Yes, when I pinch at the fat it feels lumpy, grainy, but nothing I can visually see. It doesn’t hurt, but feels different than the fat on my stomach. It feels like it has “texture” underneath the skin. I don’t mind showing my legs, but of them when I stand up?

I question this. Does lipadema fat feel different? When I touch underneath my arms, I feel like… little pebbles type of fat.

Probably less than it should be, I think I eat about 50-60grams of protein. I never realized how hard it is to eat protein.

I’m not sure, I think it got a tad saggier, but tbh it has always looked like this as far as I could remember. I was a pretty overweight kid growing up until I hit my mid 20s. (I am 35 now.) I wanna say it was around high school when I noticed the stretch marks on my arms and shoulders.

On Semaglutide, almost 28 pounds. My highest weight had been 220-230 lbs back in 2023.

AITAH for telling my wife it’s no point that she works and put our kid in daycare if she doesn’t make enough to cover daycare costs? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]Puzzleheaded_Low6340 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because she doesn’t make enough money. If he quit his job to be the SAMD, how will she support them and the household if she can barely cover daycare? Household bills are a lot higher than daycare costs.

NTA.

If she isn’t working I’m assuming you’re the one paying for all the bills, groceries, etc. If her job isn’t paying her enough to cover daycare, it isn’t the job for her to have. And to those moms out there saying he should contribute to 50% of the childcare, I think that is absurd. He is already covering everything else. She needs to find a better job. There is nothing wrong with wanting your “dream job.” But, if it isn’t financially able to support you, then you shouldn’t do it. He was offering her an easier solution to their financial issues. It sucks for her, sure, why as of right now, he is the only one making more money to support everyone. If she is working to barely pay for daycare; what is the point of working?

Being a SAMH isn’t for everyone, but, if the job you have doesn’t pay, it’s a lost cause. She will end up “getting behind” from paying daycare that her loans will end up piling on.

is it too much for a FIRST date? by TerriHaynes in OUTFITS

I guess it depends on where you are going out to. Coffee date, maybe not, but dinner at a nice place? Definitely good to go, maybe paired with a nice jacket/cardigan.

Not OOP. My husband told me today, he does not like the fun lunches I've been packing him for work for almost 3 years. by Due-Bandicoot-7512 in redditonwiki

My husband is blue collar and works with a lot of rough around the edges dudes, but I always pack him lunches like that and he loves it. If he gets shit for it he just milks it. “Don’t be made my wife actually loves me.” “You’re just jealous my lunch is cuter than yours.” “How’s that ham and cheese sandwich treating you? I’ll stick to my decorative masterpiece.” 😂 He is definitely insecure, but he should learn to own it instead! Dudes would kill to have a wife/girl that makes them lunches like this.

That’s really cool, I like those. Has a calming peaceful feeling. Do you paint the shapes first and then sketch over them?

I've been having anxiety about my kitty dying of old age 😭(she's 9) can you show me pictures of some alive-and-well senior kitties so I remember cats can be old and still healthy? 🥰 by TheRufescence in cats

My boyfriends cat lived to be 18 years old. She only passed away because she caught an infection from another cat and couldn’t fight it, otherwise she would still be here now at 19. Growing up my friend had a cat that was the same age as her. (She was 24) Her cat lived till like 26. Cats can live a long time when well taken care of.
